That would imply I know enough about tennisCould that be a lob?
For some reason I would never have got the word 'lob'. Is it a rem used in tennis? I mean I've heard of lobbing but didn't associate it with tennis.
A "lob" is a stroke normally from the back of the court which directs the ball high over the head of the opposition particularly if he/she is close to the net thereby requiring him/her to turn and run back to return the ball (if feasible).
(So I am told)
