Creamy Hot Buttered Rum
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. Butter, softened
1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp. Powdered Sugar
Dash each ground: Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Allspice
2 Tbsp. Vanilla Ice Cream, partially melted
50ml Dark Rum (I used a Black Spiced Rum)
+/- 4 oz. Boiling Water
Whipped Cream, optional to taste
Method:
Cream together the Butter, Sugars & Spices in a small bowl
Stir in the Ice Cream and Vanilla, well (it’ll look terrible, but trust the process)
In a heat-proof mug, pour in the creamy mixture
Add in the Rum and top off with the boiling Water, leaving head room of about half an inch
Stir to combine
Top with the Whipped Cream
Garnish with a Cinnamon Stick and small sprinkle of ground Cinnamon
