S = short and on = leg. The on side in cricket is also known as the leg side. That was what I meant about having a bit of knowledge about cricket. Compilers use this quite often, though, so it's not that sneaky.I reckon so - the way I read it is 'son' (short leg) ingests (has inside it) tilt (lean). Not entirely sure why 'son' = 'short leg' in cricket but thought maybe it was a position for new young players as there isn't far to run.
