Does anyone else NOT use a straight knife to cut tomatoes? I find a small serrated knife is the only useable knife to cut tomatoes, and it does so very easily and accurately.

Granted my main knife is in need of sharpening, but even then. I think serrated is the only knife you wanna use for tomatoes. Especially as they age and get softer, so there's more give as you apply pressure with a knife.

I use my general purpose kitchen knife, not serrated but I keep it nice n sharp or I use a Victorinox tomato knife.
Yep they make a knife for tomatoes 😆
It's an excellent tomato knife and gives the cleanest cut. Pretty cheap too.
