don't bother with the huge traditional sized Wok's since they aren't ideal for cooking on a traditional gas or electric stove,

How do you use one on an electric stove ?

I would imagine a wok can be used on an electric stove. But I think that it would take a little longer to heat it up, since it must be screaming hot in order to fast-cook the food.
