Ok, I think I’ve settled on afternoon tea for Easter Sunday:

Ham & cheese
Egg mayonnaise
Cucumber & cream cheese

Scones, jam & clotted cream

White cake w/ vanilla frosting
Peanut butter fudge
Lemon mousse

DW bemoaned that she only ever got little chocolate rabbits . . . . so I put in a fix for that:

Mashed Potatoes
Yorkshire Pudding
Sweet potato (DD requested)

Mini Cheesecake (6 inch)

Off to lunch with a friend tomorrow, but nothing special for Easter, since it'll just be me and Mr Porky.

Betting on horses tomorrow and Monday .
Daughter up in the sounds and sons family are in Wanaka . Quiet holiday weekend.
Saturday night 4 mates here tea and euchre.
Corned beef n carrots . With mash and swede. Mustard sauce.

Dutch & Belgian traditional December chocolate is here to cause controversy then!
This is the chocolate version of Saint Nicholas, a famous bishop who has been eaten in chocolate form for at least 200 years.

Its alright to eat your own, probably not so delightful to snap the head off a chocolate Jew at Christmas

The kicker is, I only needed one, yes one, item!
