I can only use the ones on my android phone keyboard (found that out yesterday)
The options on the top of the box in which you write are not available. They are light grey (pic attached)
The keyboard options for gif/sticker says "the site does not suppport"

Mine on my ipad are also in light grey and unavailable.
So I stick with the emojis available on iOS.
Would like to reply with a gif sometimes but if it’s difficult or costly to do then so be it.
Mind you could just be a bit of tech know how that’s needed

That looks more like you've accidentally turned on the seeing that allows you to manually choose your text!.

Try this...

And see if your icons come back across the top.

They should look like this and your image doesn't.

And it doesn't. It looks like this which is the I'll do the HTML code myself...

You can still put the smiley have in, you just need to know the code so
