I don't like fried bananas, but love maduros (fried ripe plantains) and tostones (fried green plantains). No sauce for the maduros and lime based mojo for the tostones.
I'll raise you hedgehog flavoured crisps.

I remember them as a kid, quite clearly. And I also remember being very concerned about any hedgehogs being used to flavour them as well. No hedgehogs were harmed in the making of these crisps. It was the very reason that they were subject to a court case under the trade descriptions act!
Surprisingly, I'd try that without hesitation.
Me too I once had a very refined dish of Haggis and pears at a Scottish restaurant and was sold. Good Haggis is amazing!
If you're going down that route, what about the coffee beans that civets have eaten and you brew the coffee from their droppings?
