I hate the skins (on cooked tomatoes) but the seeds don't bother me. My method of peeling is likely the same as yours.

Me, also! Put the tomatoes, seeds & all into a Vitamix, & it all disappears. Trust me, I've done it before. Nothing escapes the rapidly-spinning blades!! I know that not everyone owns a Vitamix, but this machine makes certain that nothing can hide from it!

I do the same with tomatoes using my food processor. Skins get pulverized quite well. I wouldn't like them otherwise.
