It's better for chips given my minimal experience up to now. I'm seriously bending toward bought frozen chips being the best solution for air frying. Although I have yet to try bought frozen chips in the halogen.

I did consider cooking the masala potatoes in the air fryer but changed my mind in the end. You cannot see them in the air fryer.

More research is necessary.
 
My Ninja Foodi does not have a halogen light . Instead, it has a powerful heating element & fan to air fry foods. Besides, you can't see inside when it is operating. :whistling:

I use frozen chips in the halogen and it does seem to give good results. Will need to snap a photo next time I cook them.
