Not quite a newbie, i.e. just logged in here after quite a long gap. On doing so, just saw I get a trophy for 7 years being a member which feels awkward! (I'm fine if mods want to delete it.) I don't recall why I stopped visiting this site (but my life was pretty turbulent when I joined) so now I am back again.

I love trying out recipes - like having a restaurant in your kitchen since I am fairly skilled now. I tend to adapt sweet recipes though since I prefer less sugar (which I change, invariably, to honey anyway).

You can never start too many threads! MG does a very good line in pulling new threads out of existing ones, but I know she'll me very happy to see members staying new threads as well. :D

Welcome back. I'm going to make a new recipe today with Mahi Mahi. I'm planning a maple syrup/lemon sauce to serve with it with some veggies on Pasta. Should I go with honey instead of maple syrup?
