Your day sounds great, and I love Emma Bridgewater as well.

I'm not a fan of her pottery but the cafe there is nice and does great vegan and gluten free cakes, there is a lovely courtyard and little walled garden (with flowers and veg/fruit/herbs used in the kitchen. Sadly the chickens have gone). It' also just a few doors down from where I work a few days each week.

Had a lovely evening with our friends. We had curry tonight that I had taught the husband to cook a few months ago. He's really getting in to cooking now. The wife made the dairy-free, gluten-free cupcakes I taught her to make. What did you have MypinchofItaly

Sounds like a really delicious dinner.
I have been for lunch with my parents and mum has prepared spaghetti with white ragout (no tomato sauce) for me, then cutlet and chips ... and pastries at the end, both chocolate and fruit.

In the evening with friends it was more an aperitif (with lots of Prosecco!)
