Meringues with corn syrup to make them into a candy.

I don't know if we get corn syrup here. I'll have to look but I don't think we do. We have liquid glucose which might substitute.

I don't think I can get corn syrup but I will look/see. I'm making sweets at the weekend with my grandson so I have time to look. TBH I was a bit concerned that the his class at school was doing a project on sweets. There is so much bad press about sugar. But they are making it an opportunity to educate the kids about the bad things about sugar. Today they had a dentist visiting and talking about how they need to clean their teeth after eating sweets.
