He's already said he was just being sarcastic, and this goes back to my earlier point - even if I believed that, you don't get to be sarcastic when you're at that level. You just don't.

Having seen the presser, it's pretty obvious to me he was just spouting off the top of his head and didn't articulate it very well, which is...stay with me here folks...exactly why someone in that position can't <bleeping> do that!

For better or worse, we live in a world where whomever is occupying that position has to have every last syllable figured out and reviewed before they ever open their mouth. Otherwise, it comes out sounding like you maybe, sorta are hinting that people should drink some Lysol. 🤷🏻‍♂️

G's son has been at our fishing camp on Toledo Bend since the first week of March. We have not gone because he is one of those people who thinks he is the exception. Visiting with his buds and having his buds over to visit. I finally agreed to G going up for a few days. The condition was that it would be G and Brad - no visiting and no visitors. I just talked to G. Guess what? They had the neighbors over for dinner last night. :hyper::banghead::hyper::banghead:
Seriously? I lost my mind. I was SCREAMING at G. He is gone from home for a few hours and comes down with a case of STUPID. Good thing they are both 3 hours away because I REALLY want to reach out and touch someone. I do not remember the last time I have been this angry.

I don't blame you one bit. My brother went through that with his wife (a retired nurse who should have known better), and his solution was that he camped out in his van until he was sure she wasn't infected. She lived in the house, he lived in the driveway.

I am still too angry to talk to George. I have been sending text messages expressing my extreme displeasure. I told him that he needed to come home NOW. I also told him not to respond until I have time to cool off. May be awhile. What really gets me is that the neighbor is probably 10 years older than G and frail. How dare they put that sweet man in jeopardy? Ok, Ok, Ok, I really need to calm down before my blood pressure spikes. I would take a walk if it were not raining. That would work off some steam. Need to cook something or at least eat something. Maybe drink something.

Completely understand this. I'm afraid that many people believe they are somehow not going to get the virus. Its ignorance. You probably need to talk to G when he gets back in a calm way and explain what he put you through. At the end of the day, if people take risks they put other people's lives at risk. And he needs to understand that he has done this to you. Its really difficult I know. I'm struggling here with my partner's behaviour too.
 
What really chaps me is that he KNOWS better. We have isolated. Grocery pick up or delivery. We had a small repair project scheduled. A door frame with rot and some wood siding with rot. A one day job by one person. It has been put off. No trips to the grocery store. He gets out of my sight and gets stupid. Yes I will be calmer when he gets home. If he does not do anything else stupid. A BIG if.

My daughter has been harping on about bubbles. Lol, she wanted to go out last night. so she dropped mr7 to her brothers. Broke the bubble to suit her. I told her off.
