I dont think people who ride motorcycles are square. Have you ever heard that word used as slang to reference someone who is rigid and unbending in personality, always plays by the rules, "uncool"? In the US back in the 70s/early 80s it was more commonly used. Young people today probably know of it but don't use it.

Haven't heard that description (square) in years.
At school it was applied to those who (a) didn't socialise outside school (b) wore old-fashioned clothes (c) never went to pubs (d) never played sports
One of the typical "squares"from my grammar school (high school) is now a bishop.

Why do they look identical to me?

Because they nearly are
Zoom in and you’ll see one has the roses connected in a straight line creating a white square in the unprinted section, the other they are off set so they look more like they’re spinning.

Perhaps I should just toss a coin and get in with it!!

It took me a few attempts to realise they were different
