Kitchen scales

Well really great news! I got an email back from the USA distributor for Escali (Kitchen Supply) just now and they informed me that my model of scale was discontinued but they would be happy to send me a replacement model (free with no S&H or other fees and they don't want the old one back) from these two choices:
Arti Glass Kitchen Scale
Arti Classic Glass Kitchen Scale
I chose this one:

What's interesting is that they didn't require any validation that I ever really even owned the scale. They didn't ask for proof of purchase or anything else. They made it very easy for me.
