My son loves it.
Sadly it's off limits for me now due to containing gluten.
Shame because it would make an excellent ambient temp travelling companion.
As it's still sold in Sainsburys, Waitrose and Ocado (who are notoriously cut throat at dropping lines that don't shift well) I'd guess it must still sell fairly well.
I think it's heading up towards being 200 years old!
I sort of invented a version of this which contains no gluten. It should keep well. I left it rough textured so I could use it in a pasta dish but if you want it as a spread simply whizz it smooth: Recipe - The Lady’s Relish
