I've cut hubby's hair for years - he has a very simple cut with grade one around the sides and back and grade 2 on the top which is very easy with clippers.

I used scissors on damp hair. I don't really understand clippers.

A friend brought me clippers as a present from a Cambodian market must have been 15 years ago. I don't use them for cutting hair but trimming the beard and sideburns and cleaning the hair from my ears. They're still working.

Pretty harmless with modern electric type. Can't cut skin and I still have my lugs.

I have been doing TVS's hair for few years now, number 2 all over and tidy up. I am growing my hair anyway but it needs a tidy.

Had my hair last professionally cut March 11th on my last trip to Connecticut. It looks fine. I usually go in once every four months anyway, so I can deal. I have in the past trimmed my bangs, but if my hair gets long enough, I'll just tie it back. I may want to anyway - it will be cooler to keep it off my neck.

That's it. The clippers come with a set of guards that set the length. No. 1 is the bare clipper blade, No. 2 is the 3mm attachment, No. 3 is the 6mm attachment etc.

My eldest DD trimmed the ends for me about 2 weeks ago. Felt all bouncy and stuff, lol. I went and bought Clairol Natural Instincts and colored it myself. Not too shabby. I'm happy.
