Lovely time of year

Yesterday summed up Scottish weather perfectly; the morning was bright and clear and by about 11 o'clock the sun was shining and it was positively warm. By about two in the afternoon, it was cloudy. About two hours later, it was bucketing down with rain which continued well into the evening. This is normal, apart from the sunny bit.

It was the same here in Cheshire as well. The only difference was that around 7pm it tried to con me into thinking it was nice and worth a walk (it was sunny again at this point). I decided to ignore its teasing behaviour and didn't go for a walk which was an exceptionally good move because less than 20 minutes later the heavens opened and it rained rather hard.

Today has been a mixture of sunny, windy and muggy along with cloudy and some light drizzle. So far nothing to tempt me outside but I must at some point go for that walk I have to take twice a day!
