This is a lovely recipe - the aromatic turmeric really takes centre stage - and I love the idea of throwing handfuls of basil into the dish at the end as if it is a vegetable rather than a herb. I used some Scotch Bonnet and Thai chilies too. Rather than chopping lemongrass to add at the end I used spring onions - my lemongrass was just to 'woody' to be eaten without cooking.
