What is your favorite thing to eat at night during what I like to call "The midnight munchies??" lol. I love anything cheesy, although lately I have been eating every night steamed Brussels sprouts with butter and salt on them mmm. What do you normally munch on at night?

Brussel sprouts for late night snacks??? I should get on board with this. I am embarrassed to say what I snack on some nights in the wee hours of the morning. Let's just say it is not brussel sprouts.

The healthiest snack I have had is nuts or popcorn and I am not sure how healthy they are after all.

I've just had a midnight snack of Jaffa cakes. I usually snack on a few biscuits to finish an open packet (!) or a slice of toast with peanut butter or pate. I only snack if I had a light dinner though and see it as dessert in my mind...

Scrambled eggs made using the microwave. I'll whisk an egg or two in a bowl then plop it in the microwave for about a minute and a half or so. Every few seconds, I'll take it out and scramble the contents with a fork. By the time the minute and a half is up, I usually have a properly scrambled egg ready to eat.

I'd eat anything depending on what my mood is at that time. Usually I'd go for ramen or something that would fill me up just the right amount. I don't like anything too heavy but anything too light would just make me crave even more, so ramen is a good one to eat especially those small ones in cups because they are just the right portion for a midnight snack.

I do not normally snack on anything late at night. My last meal is usually somewhere between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and it is always a light snack. I have never believed in eating late at night. Furthermore, my bedtime is fairly early, no later than 9:30 p.m. most nights. I have heard some people say that they would get up sometimes in the middle of the night to snack on something. I have only gotten up in the night to drink a glass of water if I was feeling thirsty.

The only occasion that I would eat past midnight is on New Year's Eve since I like to watch out the old year, so before going to bed on that night I may probably just take a glass of juice with some crackers or bread with either cheese, peanut butter or jam. If I am dining out that night, which I have not done in a while, then it would be a full meal.

I don't eat much at night but when I do it's usually something sweet like homemade banana bread, or I may snack on some guacamole and chips.

I snack at nights on just whatever i am in the mood for sometimes it's a tuna or sardine sandwich, chocolate bar , an apple or a pear, nuts, crackers and cheese. Even though i snack at nights it's not often that i do this as mostly drink lots of tea during the nights but whenever i do it's whatever is to my liking.

Nachos (with a lot of cheese!) is one of my favourites. They are so delicious and fit well into the midnight munchies category since it only takes a couple of minutes to prepare them. Another favourite of mine is just to heat up some leftovers... once again it's fast and cleans up the fridge.

If I want to go with something healthier then a fruit is always an option, I usually have some around the house at all times.

I usually don't eat late at night. Since I eat my dinner at 7pm I am pretty full through the night. But the few times I would grab something it would probably be cookies...

I can't sleep on an empty stomach, which is why I eat my dinner so late. The times I have tried I'll literally be up at 3am googling why I can't sleep. On some diet boards I have found other people who have the exact same problem. Or, they can't sleep when they restricted their calories and their body is losing weight. I don't know if that a weird little thing with some people or it's true for everyone. For me though it is one of the reasons I have trouble losing weight! If I restrict my calories I will for sure be up looking for a midnight snack.

The only time I really snack at night is when we have an early dinner. I usually eat leftovers or some popcorn. I just actually bought a couple of bags of mixed nuts for snacking purposes, as I am trying to eat more healthy, so I will be eating the nuts in the future if I need a late night snack.

Oh gosh, my midnight munchies have always been super unhealthy! I always stuffed my face with popcorn, Doritos and the likes. I have now resorted to making much more healthy snacks to nibble on such as, cucumber cubes mixed with carrots and some pickles. So delicious and healthy too!

Popcorn can be really healthy if it is not the prepopped shop bought stuff. Home popped stuff with little sugar or salt is full of fibre and few calories and even branded stuff like Butterkist home pop corn has surprisingly few calories per serving (the slightly sugared one we get had only 80 calories per serving and comes in a 3 serving bag - split between 2 of us that is only 120 calories for a sizeable serving).

There is something about raw vegetables that I can't do at night, perhaps it is because they are cold. If I end up snacking on veggies at night they have to be cold. Part of the reason why I would have a midnight snack is to help satisfy my stomach so I can go to sleep.
