While cleaning the Cuisinart food processor one day, I went to remove this blade from the machine, touched it the wrong way & got nicked right at the fingertip!! Never realized how razor- sharp this thing is!!!!

Yes, those things are very sharp. A lot of people get cut cleaning them.

It has a wicked-sharp serrated edge Which is very dangerous & is nothing to toy around with! One false move can spell instant danger for anyone not handling it correctly!!!! Your best bet is to wash it with a tough brush in order to keep hands away from the sharp serrated edges!!!!
I think Cuisinart recommends washing it in the dishwasher for that very reason.
I have the same thing but from a different brand (Prozis), along with the manual thing to seal them:They are the Ziplok-style vacuum seal bags that you'd vacuum seal small things in, like cold cuts, cheese, small pieces of meat, etc. The advantage of them are that you don't have to cut them open with a knife or scissors, like you would with the regular large bags. They zip closed, allowing you to zip them closed again & re-vacuum seal them at the little vacuum hole. They come in 3 sizes; small, medium & large. They can be used in the fridge or in the freezer. You get 15 in all!
