My freezer Inventory

Nope. There are limits. And putting old clothes in the freezer is one of them. Why does it need to be in the freezer anyway?
It actually shouldn't be in the freezer, it's bad for the fur. Refrigerated is best. My sister lives in Texas now where it's extremely hot. When she was working with the US Department of State and traveling extensively, she acquired some fine furs which she now keeps in cold storage. Not really sure why she just doesn't sell them. It's too hot to wear them in Texas.

Bottom drawer looks pretty good. 👍

Very different from my freezer content.
Mine has stuff inside.
No real idea till I defrost again.
What I do know:
Chicken, beef, multiple types ready meals, tamarind, springroll skins, puff pastry, schwartzwalder schinken (ham), bread yeast, beer yeast, beer specialty grains, tomatoes and tomato paste, ginger, chili's, dog bones (almost finished), chicken liver (almost finished), ground beef, pork, cheese, some spices
Can't have forgotten too much ;)

living in "apt to get snowed in" country . . .
we stock up the chest freezer to hold us over for multiple days 'if/when it happens'
shopping at Costco - we get (all fresh)
- good steaks
- steelhead trout
- sea scallops (smallish, but . . .)
- pork chops
- ground beef (chunked to 0.5lb / 250g for freezing)
- artisan rolls
- butter croissants

it all comes home and goes directly into the deep freezer.
steelhead cut to 'one meal for two' portions
steaks/chops frozen individually
rolls / croissant (these freeze with excellent results) in batches....

so now that spring is sprunging , we're "eating down the freezer"

last summer I cut-off & froze five dozen bi-color corn - it was a bad year for corn, I normally do more.
but that fresh picked fresh cut fresh froze corn outdoes _anything_ in a plastic bag from the market....

our 'weekly shopping' has dwindled to just the fresh ingredients - fruit veggies milk eggs bread....

I’d have a hard time with that…I want to know ahead of time as to what I’m getting into.

I mentioned that we had leftover onion pie, which I thought was tomato pie, last night. The onion pie was fine, but I didn’t enjoy it, because I was expecting tomato pie - I don’t like surprises like that.

I'm deliberately running down the contents of the freezer, because my wife and son are going to the UK for 3 months and I don't want to be faced with loads of chicken and steak in there
I also want to make a whole pile of Indian street food, vacuum seal it and then (with a bit of luck) sell it.

I am not good at labelling
I always think I will remember.
Had plenty a surprise meal (and I don't mind at all) :hyper:
