Speaking of antler handled knives...after the huricane season of 2004 i was out digging around the old oak in the backyard getting shingles that had inbedded themselves into the dirt i pulled out an antler handled steak knife. We found lots of weird stuff that had blown in and was missing a lot of stuff that had blown out but the knife stands out as one of the more unusual finds.
Sometimes when i am bored i go out with a strong magnet on a stick and and shuffle it around the grass out back by the garage...the south wall blew off during the storm and all the little nuts and bolts and such that were kept in little containers on the shelves went flying out and littered the back 1/3 of the yard and they are all the time reamerging even all this time later.
