What's the significance of the word "fires", I wonder.

these were advertised as "Baby Golds"

Thank you for your timely post, timely in the sense that I have been tossing around an idea for Scalloped Potatoes that would do much nicer using a color other than white or pinkish. And those Golds look like they would fit perfectly with my intents.

Potatoes lyonaise are my favorite way to eat them, as you've all probably noticed over the past year new potatoes are even better, but they are also good just buttered and served boiled.

I just got back from the grocer and got me a bag of those Gold Potatoes. They call them Baby Dutch Yellow Potatoes on the bag.
