New Year's Eve and New Year's Day menus

It's past meal time, but as I wait to see the New Year in, I did my last Stefano's Pepperoni Calzone and snacked on Mixed Nuts which I am able to make plenty of.

I have no "after" photos of our food...but look at this lobster tail "before" photo! That was one huge beast. It was delicious!

That's what we're having. Just this morning, I mentioned the possibility of making ElizabethB's Drunk Pork Roast:

"Yeah, so New Year's Day, I saw this great recipe on the cooking forum, called Drunk Pork Roa-"

"NO! PORK AND SAUERKRAUT AND MASHED POTATOES!"

"Yeah, but this is made with wine and-"

"PORK! SAUERKRAUT! MASHED POTATOES!"

So...we're having pork and sauerkraut and mashed potatoes.
Hey Tasty, do you cook your pork roast in the sauerkraut, or cook them separately and combine them on the plate?

It's all in the crockpot (pork, apple juice, wine, apples, onions, garlic, and kraut).

I imagine it tastes fabulous! But I was immediately struck to think "Bad Hair Day."

It does indeed taste fabulous. I tried a forkful, then MrsT tried a forkful...and another...and another...and then complained that I didn't make enough - that's a sign of good cookin'! :)
