In my book, if they are covered in pastry they are sausage rolls!

Those look really yummy. I can see I'm going to have to buy some sausages or mini sausages when I go shopping later this week. Those rolls look delicious, too. It looks as if there's an egg wash on them. I might have to look for a recipe for sausage rolls.

They are standard 'finger food' at buffets if made small. Or a substantial snack if made larger! Yes, a good amount of egg wash makes for the finish. Pretty easy to do if you buy ready-made puff pastry.

I'm going grocery shopping later. I have a list, but no doubt I'll still forget something. Hopefully I'll remember to look for the ready-made puff pastry. You're not talking about phyllo dough, right? Y'all probably spell it a different way over there.
