TastyReuben my chinese grandfather would leave the house in a t-shirt and his underwear and he'd go to the café or to the supermarket wearing only that. My grandmother only left the house in full makeup and sometimes even wearing a suit, she'd walk meters away from him acting like she didn't know him :roflmao:

It's one of the advantages to not living in town:

Bravo TastyReuben! Next step the supermarket then...

I have a couple of meetings again this morning, then a business lunch and after this I’ll be free to wander around the city - if I’ll still have some energy.

Ok so this just happened a while ago. A person who had to join the meeting didn’t wear mask. I asked to him to put the mask on his face immediately - nobody else asked!
The reply has been even more surreal “ I am asthmatic”
I said “ ok folks, or he will go away immediately skype, or I will go away”
He went away.

For God Sake! I’m still shocked by this lack of self-respect and responsability also towards other people. He touched my nerves so much. I take this as a natural selection to remove this person from anything.

My sister has asthma, and she is a hospital nurse, she HAS to wear a mask, sometimes an N95 mask, which is harder to breath through than most masks. That guy at your meeting was just making excuses for not wanting to wear a mask.

Since I'm going out and about today, I have to get proper dressed. Here's today's duds (please note the y-garters):

47753

Forgot the socks.

caseydog I love the boots and I used to have ones like those. They always remind me of the song "These Boots Are Made For Walking" which in time was sang by Jessica Simpson (I know the song is not originally hers).

I wonder what would have happened to these idiots had they lived through WW2? "No, I'm not wearing that gas mask. I'm asthmatic". FFS.

If they think it's tough wearing a thin bit of cotton over their faces they should try on full NBC kit. Then they should try running up and down a few sand dunes carrying something heavy on their back whilst wearing it. Pathetic snowflakes.
