There was a time I could drink most people under the table but that ship has sailed. I know you're older than me but I'm not fully retired and I drive a lot in big cities in heavy traffic when working so I want to stay alert and stay alive.

My intake has substantially decreased as I'm following drs orders.
About the only person I do as she says.

Well, I definitely fit a walk or two in. I shall elaborate:

One thing I have zero tolerance for is driving in overly-developed areas. I have no patience for driving a hundred feet, sitting at a light, driving another hundred feet, sitting at that light, into the parking lot, back out, sitting at the light, driving a hundred feet, sitting at that light, pulling into the next parking lot…it’s aggravating.

When I know I’m going to be in that situation, I’ll park my car once, then just hoof it to all my errands, so today, I parked at Lowe’s, grabbed what I needed in there, then walked a block, crossed the 4-lane main road, across that parking lot to McDonald’s, ate lunch, walked all the way across their huge shared parking lot to Kroger, picked up a single bag of groceries, then walked 13 minutes up to the post office, took care of that, then the 15 minutes back to the car…

…only to find I no longer had my keys!

Figured I most likely left them at the post office, but I didn’t want to walk there and back again, especially since I had to be home for a 2PM meetings, so I called MrsT to come bring me a spare key…only she didn’t answer.

Waited five minutes, figured I could cut some time off walking back to the post office if I dodged behind buildings and all that, so I headed back, made it in nine minutes (had to dodge some ne’er-do-wells along the way), and yes, they had my keys, then I walked back, again avoiding the baddies, and finally made it home. I also got to see a deer and a ground hog.

So that’s my steps for today and then some!
When you get to watch the light cycle a few times... 😡

My husband is doing much better but is experiencing new aches and pains as the more serious injuries to his ankle and knee are improving. He's really lucky he didn't break anything (I am not sure if he doesn't have any hairline fractures and still think he should get checked out, but he won't). He is able to put weight on his feet now but is limping and it still hurts.

Tomorrow is my birthday. I turn 63! Taking it easy tonight, working tomorrow for a little bit then Wednesday all afternoon. I know I said I was going to take some time off, lol. I did take the weekend off at least. I'll pick up takeout sushi tomorrow night. We were supposed to go out for dinner but thats going to have to wait a few weeks until DH' can walk.
Happy birthday! 🎂 You're three months younger than me.

I'd like to chuck Fexofenadine into the mix as a good hayfever antihistamine. Worth a mention.
I did try Allegra before but it gave me terrible dry mouth and a bit of an upset stomach. I know other people who had good results with it.

I do take Singulair occasionally at night when I'm having problems breathing. I'm not asthmatic but when my allergies flare up badly I can't breathe well.

I knew you'd already have it all in hand!
Thought perhaps Bazza might want to consider it for his arsenal 🤷‍♀️
