Sadly, that's what a lot of furrin people think of the USA. But, there are a lot of good, regional foods here, if you are willing to look past the golden arches.

That same website has a map of North America, and it is very sparse. Seems the mapmakers spent a lot more time in Africa than America -- and apparently Wales.

It was tongue in the cheek mate. I have been on the road in more than thirty states and was impressed with many local dishes. Gizzards in France and my book a delicacy. Back in the 70s we stumbled on this place. One of many pearls we found. Joes Gizzard City
