As requested by SandwichShortOfAPicnic and Barriehie I'm making this thread to post pre surgery food countdown bucket list, with occasional pictures.
As long as I'm not yet having surgery I will regularly update this thread. They will be mostly unhealthy food or food that's harder to digest after surgery. So this is not a health thread.

Today I had my possibly final Big Mac, Mcdonalds fries and Dutch special Mcdonalds sauce.

Now for the bucket list.

Completed already:
[x] I had Stroopwafels from the market this weekend Stroopwafel - Wikipedia
[x] I had dim sum last week with a friend

Holiday bucketlist:
Belgian fries with at least three different sauces
Belgian fries + mussels
Shrimp croquettes
Cheese croquettes
Belgian waffle with cream and strawberries
Fresh Liege waffle
Belgian chocolate
Rabbit stew
Cuberdons
Cherry beer (kriek)

Bucket list general:
Peppersteak & fries
Ravioli
Indonesian rice table with Dutch friends
Sushi
Gratin dauphinois
Cheesecake
Pepperoni pizza
Indian thali with all the trimmings and garlic naan
Dutch licorice
Lasagne
Chocolate chip cookies
Easter bread (stollen)
Fudge
Caramel apple
Lemon cake or key lime pie

I wonder if I get to the end of this before I start. We'll see. And if I think of anything more I will take a pic.
Rabbit stew! We used to make that back in the day when there were more rabbits to hunt. Rare to see them around now; too many coyotes.

So maybe the size of a wallaby?
Oddly enough, the size of a rabbit or small hare.
Rabbits are rabbits here in Australia. Introduced for some inescapable reason and they promptly escaped and bred like, well rabbits. Hence the film called the rabbit proof fence. A true story.

You've got a weird lot of animals down there so I wasn't sure. Never know, might have rabbits that lay eggs or something lol. JK, we'd have heard about that one. Although we've got the Cadbury bunny up here.

I read that they introduced whatever species of rabbit and it took over everything then they gave it a virus that the indigenous species wasn't affected by and mostly wiped it out. People...
