Yep! I have read through it and it seems really good. I will definitely attempt cooking some recipes from it. In a way, because its Indian cookery its not really retro at all because such recipes don't date and are still being made today. Thanks for the recommendation.

Not much call for Jewish around here. I think we do have a Jewish community though. My neighbour married a Jew about 45 years ago, his father disowned him for marrying a Jew. I didn't know the difference and thought it funny to disown your son, and oldest at that. They never spoke again. Sad really. The mother used to go visit the son, but the dad never knew. He died never speaking to his son.
