Recipe Scallops Wrapped in Bacon.

I want to make these but scallops are rather expensive where I'm from :( I've been serving bacon-wrapped liver at my parties and everyone loves them, but sooo want to try this. I've heard it's quite easy to overcook the scallops too. What's the ideal time to cook them?
 
Foolsgold I wouldn't mind making these myself but if I do find them I am sure there are going to cost a fortune. It's also something I won't find at any small supermarket. Even bacon is expensive around here but I like to keep some on hand.
 
I find scallops and shrimp wrapped in bacon absolutely delicious. Scallops are fully cooked when they are opaque. I wrap them, then braise them in a medium hot pan about two minutes per side then bake them in a 400 degree oven for 5 or 6 minutes. Have you thought of a sauce for them or are you serving them with just the bacon flavor. I sometimes use a sweet and sour sauce on them before I wrap them. And I use a barbecue for the shrimp.
