Scone Blasphemy

In the Netherlands we have the same kind of debate, half of the population says 'patat' when they mean fries, and the other half says 'friet' which also means fries. There's a continous discussion of who is right. I just call it 'frietpatat' :laugh:

How about this:

fries + diet = friet = French fries diet!
 
I have been eating fruit scones for a few days now, only butter, if we had jam I would but not cream because I am not a fan.
 
When I follow UK recipes for scones...they rarely turn out very well.
You'll have to try my recipe for scones... mind you the trick with British scones is that the dough isn't too wet and the key thing, don't roll it out too thinly. Hot oven also helps

I could see cream cheese, but nothing that would pour.
