Theoretically I think this time change is so people stay out later and spend more. It's a money thing. We had our time change, so it's 2:43 here instead of 1:43...throws our schedules out of whack a bit. I don't know why they have to torment us 2x a year by doing this. But I like this time change better than the fall one because now it stays lighter longer in the evenings. It drives me crazy in the winter when it gets dark so early! Also this justifies our late eating habits because it's still light out in midsummer up until around 9 pm, so eating at 10 or after seems somewhat more "normal" LOL! Anyway, I am just now cooking breakfast. I have 2 pounds of bacon on a parchment lined baking sheet in the oven and have some grits with half and half and salt in the microwave that I am going to add some cheese to in a bit, then frying some eggs for DH.
Looks good - did you like it? Will more self-cooked breakfasts figure into your future?First time in a few years I cooked my breakfast, mushroom and pepper omelette

For breakfast? That seems an odd combination to meI had a Swiss cheese, fruit chutney, pickled beetroot and sliced onion sandwich.
We've eaten odd things for breakfast when using up leftovers. For breakfast? That seems an odd combination to me
Yep. It probably is. But then I'm known to eat left over pizza, samosas and pakoras for breakfast, too!For breakfast? That seems an odd combination to me
