I saw the pellets in twenty pound bags, isn't that a bit of over kill though?
Am I really going to need that much?

Not for a smoking tube... for a pellet smoker, yes.

Not sure where to post this but here is some salt I smoked while doing up
Some Kasselar for the shop. It is a box of French Sea Salt we sell. Smoked salt is selling well here, so I thought I would make our own to sell. Probably package t in small 3 ounce containers. View attachment 79282View attachment 79283

Made two batches of this and sold it at our Community's Craft & Bake Sale.
4 ounce jars for $3.00USD ... I only sold TWO!
But I did get a text just a bit ago, asking if I had more and could they please buy more from me, it's real good

Sounds like you had the wrong customers. I'd certainly buy some.

DH thought otherwise. I thought that because Smoked Sea Salt is trending, maybe this would sell, but I agree with you MG.

Thank you ladies and gents for bringing the idea of smoked salt to the forefront. I've never thought about it before. If I had attended your craft and bake sale I would have bought numerous jars!!!
