Sweet potatoes - do you like them or hate them?

I did a recipe once that had cumin as one of several spices for pan fried sweet potato slices. Unfortunately I could still taste the sweet potato.

Don't you want to taste the sweet potato? After all, sweet potato

I cook it because my wife loves it, I can tolerate it, and there’s a little part of me (much like with squash) that says I should like it, so I keep trying.

I used to like it so I always expect that I will. However I am wrong every time.

Sweet potatoes get my vote, I really like them and I look for them every time I go to the supermarket. They are not very loved in general in Italy, however I think they are very versatile. I particularly like the white version which I use to make cakes as well.
