True about the staining. I use *lots* of turmeric so glass is good!

Health benefits. Mitigates inflammation and in some cases of RA is as effective or better than NSAIDs.
Absolutely! I worked for a couple of nutritional companies in the past decade (part time freelance jobs) and I am no longer with them, but I sure did learn a lot about it and was given free stuff to try pretty often. I really liked the curcumin from Solgar, but Ancient Nutrition has a turmeric bone broth that comes in powder form that's very versatile and I was able to use it in cooking recipes as well as in drinks.

Have you ever heard of golden tea? It's a delicious, healing drink containing turmeric that you can easily make if you keep turmeric, cinnamon, honey, and nut milk on hand--I guess you could use dairy milk but most people don't.

No but I'll check it out thank you. I use some already dried and powdered and there's a local market where I can get the fresh rhizomes. 👍

I can find a recipe for you if you'd like but you can google and there are multiples online. Some call for ginger but I don't love ginger so I don't add it to mine. Also others call for ghee because supposedly the fat helps get more out of the turmeric but I didn't do that, but some dairy has fat so that would work? And black pepper is supposed to help work with the turmeric as well...it's really a simple drink and easy to make, easier than smoothies and nice on a cool day.

Here's a simple recipe: 10 Minute Turmeric Golden Milk

Okay sorry for dragging this off-topic!

Well you and I might think so but a moderator or several might not think the same...
Hahaha!
I eat a load of turmeric and, yes, it is very beneficial for your health, according to all the health gurus out there.
Yes, I know it's been touted as a superfood, and there's a lot of hype (well there always is, isn't there?) but it certainly does its job as a natural digestive and anti-inflammatory. Part of the ginger family.
A little goes a long way, like any spice, I suppose.

Yep, and I was once asked for a recipe. I went for almond milk and turmeric powder. Not really my kind of drink ( I prefer something a little stronger  ) but it's delicious.

I do it! And it’s amazing 😍

I know turmeric has many benefits, but does anyone have good advice on how to keep the color from staining your teeth? It's a bit off topic, but I'd love to hear from others.

Probably best with a whitening toothpaste and if you're not into toothpaste, the I imagine that anything slightly abrasive in a toothpaste substitute will work just fine.
