Having never tasted Quinoa, I did a little search on what Quinoa tastes like. The results were not encouraging.

I guess I need to buy some, and try it. It may be the ultimate Recipe Challenge -- make Quinoa taste good.

JAS_OH1 congratulations for your win and quinoa is a very good choice as an ingredient, it's very old, the native americans did use it a lot and since it's used like a grain you can do everything with it, soup, salad, main dish, dessert, snacks everything.

I know how to make it taste good, I have faith in your abilities and others in this forum to do the same. I could tell you various ways I've prepared it in the past, but I'd rather let people do their own thing here.

It seems that quinoa is a reasonably popular choice although possibly there are some places (Thailand in Yorky 's case) where its harder to find. I say we go with it.

Never seen it here. Although I've not really looked. Sounds much too healthy for me.
