The CookingBites recipe challenge: tomato ketchup

Bacon Burger Stir Fry. This might sound ridiculous, but it was surprisingly good. I think I’m happiest that this does not play like a hamburger with rice. It plays like a stir fry.

Two strong entries to kick us off - keep ‘em comin’!

but now I want to look into the related sauces that evolved into it.
I am a food history geek so DITTO.
About 10 years ago, Heinz launched a GREEN tomato ketchup here.
It lasted about 10 minutes!
(I bought a bottle. I thought it was rather good!)
There was also purple ketchup.
Ketchup is my least favorite condiment. I use ketchup on hot out of the fryer French fries (chips) or homemade onion rings. I have never used ketchup as an ingredient. I keep a small bottle in the fridge. It frequently expires before it is used up.
Sorry Canadian neighbors. I was not aware of the ketchup wars. The little I use has always been Heinz. I may have to try making my own ketchup.
Who am I kidding - I think I have had one too many glasses of wine.

This is shaping up to be an easy challenge to judge!
