The food and drink pairing game

Actually phrik naam pla (chilis in fish sauce) doesn't normally contain anchovies here (which are very rare).

The fish sauce I use contains anchovies. Maybe that is why the anchovies are rare in Thailand - they all go into the fish sauce!

We all seem to have gone wonky here:

This thread is to do with pairing ingredients. So this one doesn't work. Butter is part of Chicken Kiev - not something which pairs with it.
Same with this one. Bread crumbs are part of Chicken Kiev - not something which pairs with it.
And then we have: Deep Fried Wombat. Why would you want to serve breadcrumbs with deep fried wombat?

Anyway, lets get back on track (or on the other hand, we can consign this thread to oblivion :laugh:).
