I got to my parent's apartment, changed the linens, went out to the car for a few minutes, and when I came back, he was on the floor. Mom wanted to hit the panic button, which brings the emergency services. I got him back up -- until the next time he falls. Looks like wheel chair time, a walker isn't doing it, anymore. He tries to back up, and falls. He used a wheelchair fine in the hospital and in rebab.

I'm exhausted. I finally got some food in my body. Not a lot, but something.

My flight home kept getting delayed. I got to my house around 1AM. I crawled into bed and slept till noon today. Still low energy, and not much appetite. I drank a meal replacement shake, so I at least got some nutrition. These stomach bugs kill your appetite for a few days. But, at least not as bad as food poisoning.

I’m sure Psychopoodle will cheer you up a bit. Hopefully, you’ve rounded the corner on this thing.
 
This time 16 years ago I was arriving at hospital with several broken bones, a dislocation, missing teeth, cuts, grazes, and an extra hole in my face giving me a rather fetching second mouth.
Best thing that ever happened to me, I count 27th April as my second birthday - me and The Queen, we get two. :happy:

Were you playing hockey or rugby? I hear that happens often with those sports. Seriously, I am guessing a car wreck? Glad you survived, whatever it was.

I was on a training ride on my bike and it was abruptly ended by a motorist who wasn't paying attention. I was doing about 25mph down hill when she turned across me and I hit the passenger door, face planted the car roof and landed on the road head first. It did sting a bit
