I believe a complete absence of clothes is the requirement. Best, I think, to avoid tending to any cacti if you are participating.

I noticed some people all geared up for field trips this morning...

We did not do anything special. We plan a day trip tomorrow though. It showered late afternoon, and it is raining now, hopefully good weather tomorrow.
