Since November 2022, DH can now only have ONE cup of regular coffee per day.
He WAS drinking probably 10 a day
:stop:
Cardio Doc said, that must stop!
Although, he can have a reasonable amount of decafe coffee, no problem... we've found one that he likes, but here's the rub:
We have 600 K-Cup pods of the full-strength coffee that he can only have one a day of - we'll have enough of that coffee until about June 2025!!! I need to look at the "best by" date :coffee:

I had physio yesterday, and they let me go on the exercise bike for 5 minutes! I love cycling (commuted regularly by bike for around 12 years), so I was super excited. Felt so good to finally be on a bike again!

I’m weaning slowly out of the boot. I don’t wear it around the house anymore, and I can sorta walk around and stand for longer and longer. I’m going to to try seeing how I do sans boot in the office this week (wearing it to commute on the train and then taking it off when I get to the office).

The lack of cardio fitness is a bit of a struggle - since I was unable to do any exercise for about 4 solid months, I’m probably in the worst shape of my life right now. It’ll take a while to get that back.

If I was in the office when I worked for myself I had around 10 cups as well. I made an effort to stop that . I limited myself to 1 a day. I still do it now as well.

I'm finally seeing my GI specialist today, after it's been postponed two months because she had Covid. Hoping to get the green light for treatment finally!

That would mean I get my immunosuppresive therapy somewhere in February and then every 6 weeks. It means staying in hospital for one morning each 6 weeks to get the medicine through a drip. But I'm looking forward to it because I'd get my life back!

GF gifted me those about 5 years ago..I think it was the second time I've worn them..Not a sunglasses type of guy..

I bought some reading glasses from a local optician and was given clip-on sunglasses to attach. Why would I possibly need sunglasses with reading glasses?

So that when you're driving, you can flip down the sunglass lenses to shield your eyes from the bright sunlight. Hah!! :whistling:

My eyesight is such that I don’t see well under dim lights. Sunglasses restrict my vision. So, I had to give up looking cool and mysterious.

It is 29F outside, and "rain"is on the way. Oh yeah, that's below zeroC. Wanna' guess how that "rain" will hit the ground.

Looks like I need to dig up my tow rope so I can pull my friends, and people I encounter, out of the ditches. A few days out of the year, I get to really appreciate quattro.

I’m the other way round - bright lights bother me, so I’m prone to sitting in very dimly lit rooms when I have the option, and I usually wear sunglasses outside, even on overcast days.

Looks like a typical day here. Not sure how I should react. Say I’m sorry or laugh at you. The first snowstorm is always a mess. People forget that they have to slow down. Watch yourself if you are out standing on the road side. People will slam on the breaks and fishtail into you.
Happens every winter.
