Tell him you won't pay him unless he finishes in the next two days.
I could merrily say that right now 😂
But he’s a human being with his own life stressors weighing him down and whilst I’m capable of delivering a shoeing I prefer not to, I think of it as the gentler path!

SandwichShortOfAPicnic well, here's how I see it ... he's given you yet another, "I'll be finished by next Tuesday ..."
Let him know that for each day thereafter, you're docking his pay! He's what, three weeks past due?
And feed him the experiment waffles that your sons make!

We've just been issued with stay at home orders by the university. There's a cyclone (called Alfred) due to hit the coast tomorrow I think. Queensland will get the worst but all of this side of Australia will see rain.

I'm hoping that I get to see something other than dry lightning or wood falling out of the sky for a change.

Airport hotel bars have to be among the most annoying places to be.

I’ve got super-drunk Romeos on one side, people who obviously don’t drink much at home so they’re making up for it here, and loud-as-f… teenaged boys, about a dozen of them, running all over the bar and lobby areas, and super-drunk sports fans on the other side of me.

C’mon plane, land already!

Yep. You can start with the prices :hyper:
Last time I was in Panamá, the only decent bar was full of... I don't know whether they were evangelists, sports fans, recent lottery winners... but they wouldn't stop shouting, high fiving, whooping.
The only positive thing was, the local beer was fantastic!

I love it when they start out with, "We are out of..." and 3-5 of the menu items you would have ordered are on that list.

We're going to dine in a one Michelin star restaurant very close to home on wednesday, only 10 minutes by car! Very curious what this will be like.
We're going here because we're not sure when I will have a surgery ( if it's at all possible) and therefore we don't know if we have to move our summer visit to Parkheuvel ( 2 Michelin stars) to November again.
Anyway, here's the website:

I think I will go for the 4 course menu which allows you to select your preferred dishes.

So I think my menu will be:
1) Northsea crab with beetroot & horseradish
2) Special poached egg & potato salad
3) Sea bass with vichisoisse and leeks
4) Blackberry & vanilla with semonlina pudding

But, I might change my mind or we might go for the tasting menu.
