Spotted 2 Sundogs (parhelia) yesterday. One either side of the sun.
The first was taken through the car windscreen, his vehicle so apologies for the dirt! The distorted sun image is caused (figure of 8) by a temperature inversion.
Then I managed to convince him to stop and got a photo of the other, before having a better shot at home.

The figure of 8 sun is also an interesting one. I've only seen that once before in Scotland, many years ago.Love that! Never heard of sun dogs and I love weather things.

Husband and I came across these ducks yesterday while on the way back from the pub. They’re all male, so I decided that this is a duck bachelor party.
