Nice piece about how to make it too, I’ll defo have a go at this in the summer when the lovely locally grown cucumbers are back in season.

Cucumbers are the one thing I’d consider buying a greenhouse to have. I LOVE cucumber and home grown cucumber is top of the charts!

I was thinking it would be a nice way to use up gluts of produce. I could see satnav swimming in a sea of fruit caviar

Might make a really nice Christmas gift for people too. Cheap, easy to make and not available in the shops.
One guy I watched said don’t waste your strained fruit pulp you can make fruit leather with it and then he showed some gorgeous looking fruit leather. So you could go no waste on it.

I used to work in a factory that made fruit leather... Don't buy it...

I was briefly tempted to weigh one of my cucumbers, then cut up and dry, weigh again etc
But I do like them fresh, so maybe one day when they are on special

I was also thinking they just need to be a fresh summer burst pearl to elevate cucumber, maybe lime salt n sugar could do the trick

Reckon dill would be difficult to get the concentration right on, it’s pretty pungent just in its natural feathery state.
Still worth a go.
