Five must-try Turkish dishes with food guru Refika Birgül

Have you eaten any of it? And did you like it?

We used to go on a regular base to a Turkish restaurant in the Netherlands and I thoroughly enjoyed the food
There was a sauce they made that came with the meat and potatoes that was just out of this world.
Definitely tomato based, but a bit spicy as well. No idea what it was called

Here’s one thing I’ve made:

What did you cook or eat today (January 2022)?

I have absolutely no memory of making or eating that, but the pics don’t lie, so there it is. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This one is something I entered in a challenge, which I remember as being quite good:

Recipe - Turkish-Style Scrambled Eggs (Menemen)

ETA: Further research reveals I did not enter those eggs in a challenge, so that’s a faulty bit of my memory. I don’t even know who I am anymore or why I’m even here. Why are any of us here? I think I’m having an existential crisis over these Turkish recipes!

Did you post the meatball and sauce recipes? They look really good.

Thanks, but I didn’t. I don’t know where the recipe came from, and looking at them, I wish I did, because they look delicious!
Were they lamb?
