Valentine's Day 2025

Valentine's Day was spent prepping and cooking Indian street food for a small group of 10. I taught them 8 different recipes, and for some odd reason everything turned into Valentine's Day themes. the samosas were hand crafted into heart shapes. The pooris (round fried breads) also became weirdly heart shaped, except for one, which was censored . The aloo tikki, which are definitely round, became elongated and rather rude. The vadas (similar to falafel, but in balls) eluded comments like "Want some of chef's balls, sweetheart?":hyper: Skewering the kebabs turned into an X-rated scene (Dah-ling, just slide the skewer in gently..) and when we got to the prawns; nothing like an aphrodisiac to finish the night off, yay! Nudge, nudge, wink, wink! All the participants were over 65, so it may have just been they'd been reading Proust "a la recherche du temps perdu"
That was when I left.
My valentine of 43 years was out like a light when I got home:laugh::laugh:😴😴
