It gets so wet here that if you go off the road and aren't 4x4 capable you're stuck. I always keep two wheels on the pavement and *don't* stop moving.

You could eat them... They're full of tomato plant leaves so probably bitter, lots of alkaloids. Tomato plants are in the nightshade family but you'd have to eat *lots* of the plant to be affected.

Someone else might have input on eating caterpillars.

Depends if you have any kidney issues then they're not your friend!

Cold and sunny here, just bought some herbs yesterday…then I noticed we have a frost warning coming up. When will I learn? Don’t plant anything before Memorial Day!

Up to 80 here today. Weeds growing like crazy between the plant mounds so it'll be tiller time this week. I'll grind it all up, layer on some mulch, till it again, and lastly cover with cardboard. I've been following this methodology for two years now and the soil is *really* becoming fruitful. Not that it wasn't to start with but I like a no chemicals approach.
